KWEEN, Uganda [SHIFT MEDIA] As the hunt of politicians implicated in miss allocation of thousands of iron sheets (Mabati) meant for Karamoja rages on, scores of pupils in Chepsukunya Primary school in Kween are studying under trees following the de-roofing of the P 1, P2 and P 3 school block due to heavy winds and heavy down pour that rocked Kween recently.
The pupils were rendered homeless as they reported for their first term studies.
Sadly on Thursday as Primary Six pupils went on with their studies under a tree, a huge snake landed from the tree sending the semi candidates into scattered wild runs. Fortunately no pupil was hurt by the serpent that was also put out of action.
Those who know the geographic mapping of Kween, especially Chepsukunya Primary School, accessing it is a night mare. It can either be accessible through Kapchorwa or Bulambuli through Ngenge Sub county district or through the impassible mountain terrain of Kween.
