Thugs nabbed stealing in Kampala suburb

Kampala, Uganda:

Police in Najjera have arrested a suspect who had broken into a house and stole property worth millions of shillings.
The Officer in Charge Najjera Police Station got information from the Chairperson LCI Bulabila Mr. Med Nsubuga that a thug was arrested in Bulabila Kamwanyi zone.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Spokesperson, Patrick Onyango,  the OC Najjera Police Post and his team rushed to the scene at the home of Mr. Nakissa James.
Nakissa told police that he went back home with his children at around 14.45hrs from School only to get a motor vehicle reg.no. UAZ 174Z Toyota Wish silver grey in colour moving out of his gate.

“I saw one other man not known me standing in the compound as he communicated to some one inside the house,” said the house owner.
Nakissa asked the one who was driving the vehicle to stop and introduce himself. The suspected thug identified himself as Kayiza Yasin.


Onyango told SM News that when the other two thugs heard Nakissa introducing him self as the owner of the home, they took off and jumped the perimeter fence leaving their colleague who was driving the car behind who was arrested and the car impounded.
The suspect is detained at Najjera Police Station on charges of House breaking and theft.
