KAMPALA, Uganda|SHIFTMEDIA| The dreams are big, and big indeed. The future is bright for Next Media, the foundation for NBS Television as they plan to dominate the media space in Uganda, and perhaps Great Lakes region.

NBS TV under Next media services, owned by Kin Karisa has over time taken over the media space, competing sharply with the Agha Khan owned NTV.
Karisa purchased the former WBS offices in Naguru and decided to change its outlook by designing a spectacular state of the art media facility.

As we speak construction works are ongoing and reports are rife that the proprietor wants the shifting by the end of this year if all goes as planned.

WBS TV that was owned by city guru Gordon Wavamunno ceased to operate as a public broadcaster on December 14, 2016, because of the failure to repay a sh7billion tax debt.
WBS Limited was placed under receivership by Uganda Revenue Authority to recover over sh7billion in unpaid taxes.
