How Should Organizations Prepare For Covid 19?

[Self Development TIPS]

|SHIFTMEDIA| Reality has set in with the confirmation of the corona virus in the neighboring countries. I have seen governments respond with stringent measures to protect their citizens from contracting this fearless virus.
No one knows when a cure or vaccine will be acquired. I have seen schools, churches, being closed, presidents meeting with owners of large retail shops, encouraging them to stock more so that people can buy home supplies in plenty, meeting heads of clinical diagnostic facilities to ensure that there is efficiency in providing ab tests, hotel owners  etc. Great efforts coming together.
Most organizations have taken it upon themselves to invest resources in crafting and sharing pieces of information to help prepare their own employees as well as people within the communities where they live. Hand rub sanitizers are almost everywhere, others are encouraging backyard gardening to help supplement on household food supply; why? Because we don’t know how long this condition will prevail, employees are being encouraged to stop spending lavishly or on capital projects and instead save and buy dry foodstuffs in plenty, These are all great efforts.
Today my call is to invite everyone on this platform to share the different strategies that their organizations have undertaken in the wake of this virus. You never know we might just save a life or two.
One of my biggest dilemmas is how I will talk to my kids about this virus. The maid. And get them to appreciate the sensitivity that this virus comes with. How will I ensure that as I go to work, the care and responsibility that I demonstrate when am around the home is the same that all my household team will exercise when am away?
Schools and churches have been asked to close, my biggest nightmare is asking businesses, in general, to close and get everyone to go and work from home. This could be the beginning of an economic meltdown.
Let’s all be each one’s keeper. Let’s look out for each other. Let’s share information as much as we can. Let’s not panic but rather let’s act proactively. Let’s put SAFETY FIRST in all that we do. Let’s not wait for the first case to be confirmed before we do something. Its everyone’s call.
Look forward to reading from you.
All the best!
