WARNED: M7 Warns Government Officials Who Frastuate Investors

SOROTI, Uganda|SHIFT MEDIA| Corrupt government officials who Frastuate development plans will be prosecuted President Yoweri Museveni has warmed.

The NRM flag bearer who was launching the Teso Fruit factory in Soroti said government cant employe all Ugandans. “Currently government employes only 48,000, so when  i hear people say I give them jobs, I can’t understand. The only jobs are available with the private sector,” said Museveni.

He however said the issue of Investors settling had been frastuated by “Corrupt and selfish” government officials.

He said he had put soldiers in Uganda’s lakes to prevent immature fishing. “But I got reports that these soldiers are now engaged into business. We shall investigative and if found guilty we shall shoot them,” he said.

Museveni said he had also got reports of how a potential rice investor in Bulambuli was frastuated by delaying to release funds to support our farmers.

He said it was so sad for thousands of farmers to miss out on the planting season just because some corrupt person wanted kickback.

” I have ordered that Nakalema (Head of State Houses Anti corruption Unit) investigates these reports. Those implicated in sabotaging government programs will face it, ” he said.

Museveni who campaign in Teso sub region urged the locals to vote for NRM candidates so as to get services closer to the communities.

Museveni today held rallies in Mbale where he met with NRM bearers, coordinators and mobilisers from the region.

He heads to Sironko tomorrow.
