It has not been a rosy start for the Uganda Cranes as they kickstarted their fight for this year’s Africa Nations Championship title.

The Cranes were held by rivals Rwanda in a  goalless draw in the Group C.

Rwanda goalkeeper Olivier Kwizera was perfect as he made several saves.

The Amavubi grew into the game after the opening quarter with Jacques Tuyisenge and Muhadjir Hakizimana causing problems for the Uganda Cranes defence.

Uganda Cranes faces Togo that was beaten by Morroce 1-0 on Friday, while Rwanda takes on Morocco.
