After a goalless 120 minutes at Olembe Stadium in Yaoundé, the 33rd edition of TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations final was decided on spot kicks.
Senegal dominated without scoring a goal with a penalty missed by Sadio Mané in the 4th minute of play, Saliou Ciss having been brought down in the penalty area of Egypt.
After extra time, Mane eventually scored the winning spot kick, to lead to massive celebrations by Senegal.
