SOROTI|SHIFTMEDIA UG| Scores of writers, bloggers, freelance Reporters and broadcasters across Uganda are being trained on multimedia and Digital journalism.
The training organised by Ultimate Media Consult, a leading content and skill training institute in Uganda is taking place at Akello Hotel in Soroti City. The US Mission in Uganda funded the weeklong training that kicked off on November 15 and ends on Thursday 19 November.
Members of the Fourth Estate will during the weeklong training get insights on Multimedia story telling and good journalism, Data Visualization and Mapping, New Media thinking, Journalism and the internet.
Gerald Businge the Ultimate Consult Team Leader said journalists will also be taken through best practices of how to search the internet for relevant content.

Work without play?
Work without play makes one a dull person. This adage was controlled on day one as participants took time to dine, wine and dance to their loved songs. Every participant was required to select a song of his/her choice, dance to it as well as explain why that song tickles them.
