WAKISO, Uganda|SHIFTMEDIA| Nabbingo Police station has in its custody one Bujunju Henry, who is a suspect in the theft of a motorcycle belonging to Stephen Ssembalirwa.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesman Patrick Onyango, Bujunju stole the motorcycle yesterday from Nabbingo. Onyango told the press that Bujunju is a resident of Nansana municipality in Wakiso district. “Ssembalirwa notified Police and a search was immediately launched.
Police using CCTV cameras and tracking system traced for the suspect and he was found when he had already parked the motorcycle in a garage in Kawala, Rubaga Division,” said Onyango
Bujunju has confessed that he has been stealing motorcycles and selling them in Masaka Nyendo. He is detained at Nabbingo Police Station on charges of stealing a motorcycle.
“Our detectives are now looking for the buyers of these stolen motorcycles. They will also be arrested and prosecuted,”said Onyango.
