REUTERS NEWS AGENCY, June 18— Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that Iran was defending itself against Israel’s illegal, “crazed” attacks and what he called “state terrorism,” and added Iran’s self-defense was natural, legal, and legitimate.
Meanwhile, Britain said on Wednesday it was temporarily withdrawing the family members of staff who work at the country’s embassy and consulate in Israel due to the significant risks posed from the conflict between Iran and Israel.

Over the past few days, Israel Police have logged several theft attempts that took place either during or right after sirens, when citizens and authorities are otherwise occupied.
Targeting Empty Homes
On Wednesday, police announced that a woman returned to her home in a town in the North after a siren, only to notice a thief mid-escape. He had stolen bags with cash, credit cards, jewellery, and personal items. Police officers eventually apprehended the 16-year-old Jerusalem resident for it.
