KAMPALA-SHIFTMEDIA- It was a humiliation for the Zimbabwe Women Sables who were thumped 41-0 by the She Cranes in the opening round of the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup.
The test match was held at the Kyadondo Rugby grounds on Wednesday.
She Cranes winger, Winnie Atyang, also named the player-of-the-match, was inspirational for Uganda’s win.
The remarkable return follows a stint by the She Cranes in 2019 when they played in the International Women rugby (Elgon Cup).
