Uganda’s Cancer Crisis: Activists Call for Prevention Over Costly Treatment

SONDE, Uganda [SHIFT MEDIA] “It’s a good thing to give thanks to the Lord and to sing praise into him” notes Psalms 92.1.
This is the joy, celebrations and merry making that engulfed Faith High School Sonde Mukono on Friday. Scores or students, teachers and non teaching staff joined in the dancing, and singing of praise as the school celebrated the excellence performance in the just released Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results.
Faith High School Sonde was among the best performing secondary schools in Mukono. 27 Students passed in Division One, while 45 passed in Division Two, The best candidate, Opote Emmanuel scored aggregate 11, out of 8 subjects sat, while Khabuye Linnete scored aggregate 16, while Wanzusi Isaac Tsama scored aggregate 17.

The headteacher David Manyike attributed the success to Gods grace, hardworking teachers, as well as focused students. ” I am so excited today to say the least. Our UCE students of 2022 made us proud,” he told the gathering.

He said the school was admitting all the 165 students who sat S 4 back into S5 at the school.
He called upon parents to embrace the school by bringing in more children, who are mentored as law abiding and God fearing citizens.
