KAMPALA, Uganda- SHIFTMEDIA–  Top city firms lost millions of shillings as they tried to quick fix vaccination for scores of their staff.

According to investigations over sh150 million ($44,000) went to city sharks purporting to ‘spare lives”. But apparently, what was paid for by these reputable firms was in fact water packaged well in form of vaccines.

State House investigators led  by Dr. Namara and a team of CID detectives have identified the firms as Madhvani Group Limited that manufactures Kakira Sugar, Riham Cola (Haris Group of Companies), Dott Services, Tororo Cement, United Bank of Africa, EAP Insurance, Smile Company, Telecom companies, Dot Max Packaging among others.

According to Dr Warren Namaara, the Head of State House Drug Monitoring Unit, these companies have acknowledged that scores of their staff were vaccinated after paying.

This scum was the mastermind of a one Dr. Francis Baguma who is currently on the run.

Close to 1000 staff from the 20 top city firms and scores of other individual Ugandans were fleeced into this scum.

The alleged AstraZeneca vaccines injected into them was discovered to be water.

Now detectives are digging further to ascertain how Baguma, and his accomplices from Mulago National Referral Hospital, the Ministry of Health and Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) made this move.

But surprisingly much as everyone knows vaccines are free, why would these firms try to quick fix things by paying Baguma and his team shs150,000- shs200,000 for each jab given to their staff?

The two nurses who were arrested on allegation of being part of the Baguma team are yet to be produced in court, weeks after they were busted.

Baguma Francis a Makerere University drop out is in hiding in the city, according to intelligence, and will soon be apprehended.

He was pursuing Statistics when life became hard, opting to device quick means of amassing wealth.

The fact that Ugandans also want quick access to things at whatever cost, made this young man achieve his purported weird dreams.

As the hunt goes on for Francis Baguma, the 800 who got the jab should thank God that what they received wasn’t poisonous, but mere water.

These are lessons for all Ugandans. Lets fight corruption together
