Uganda’s Cancer Crisis: Activists Call for Prevention Over Costly Treatment

ENTEBBE, Uganda|SHIFTMEDIA| Following the poor performance by the ruling NRM party in just concluded Presidential and Parliamentary elections, President Museveni has called a meeting for NRM members.
President Museveni communicated through the Chief Whip of the meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 29th at State House Entebbe.
The Chief Whip, however, said the condition for attending the State House meeting is a mandatory Covid-19 test.
Scores of NRM legislators were this afternoon seen carrying out the Covid -19 tests that was being conducted from Parliament.
Top on the agenda according Hon Ruth Nankabirwa the Kiboga Woman MP will be the party’s dismal performance in Buganda and Busoga sub regions.
National Unity Party’s Robert Kyagulanyi won in all most regions in Buganda. Most of the ruling party NRM ministers and MPs were shown the exit in a shocking wave of elections.
